Simple Striped Vase for LEGO’s Wildflower Bouquet

I love the simple colorblock vase I built for my LEGO Roses set, and I wanted to build something similar for my Wildflower Bouquet set. I really love the striped horizon backgrounds from the Tales of the Space Age set, so I used a combination of bricks and plates for a similar effect here.

I used an 8×8 plate for the bottom, then used a combination of 1x bricks and plates to build each level of color from the bottom up: black, dark green, green, and white. (1x6s and 1x8s would have been simplest, but I wanted to use what I had on hand.) I finished the top with white 1×6 and 1×8 tiles.

The green matches the axle stems of the Wildflower Bouquet set so nicely! But if you wanted to build a simple vase for LEGO’s Flower Bouquet, you could replace the green with sand green (to match that set’s stems), or go with a different color combination entirely.
